Privacy Notice
Ek Haan is operated by Solve Beyond Inc., a company incorporated in Canada (“Solve Beyond”, “we”, “us”). This notice explains how we use the information you share when you request an invitation at ek-haan.com. This website is an invitation list only; it does not create an account or a profile.
What we collect
- Email address (required) — so we can contact you about your invitation.
- Country (required) — United States, Canada or India, so we can plan where invitations are offered.
- Phone number (optional) — only if you choose to provide it, as an alternative way to reach you about your invitation.
- Marketing preference — whether you ticked the optional box to receive occasional emails from Ek Haan.
- Submission records — the date and time of your request, and a one-way coded version (hash) of your email address that helps us recognise repeat requests without comparing raw addresses.
Our website host may also process standard technical information, such as your IP address and browser type, to deliver the site and filter spam. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, and this site loads no third-party tracking scripts.
How we use it
- To manage your invitation request — to review it and keep a record of it.
- To communicate invitation decisions — to contact you about your request and its outcome. These are invitation-related messages, not marketing.
- To send optional marketing emails — occasional emails about Ek Haan, sent only if you ticked the optional marketing box. You can withdraw that consent at any time.
- To protect the invitation list from spam and abuse.
Leaving the marketing box unticked, or later withdrawing your consent, does not affect your invitation request. We will still contact you about it. We do not sell your information and do not share it with advertisers. Requesting an invitation does not guarantee one.
Service providers and cross-border processing
We use the following service providers to run this website:
- Netlify, Inc. (United States) hosts this website and, through Netlify Forms, receives and stores invitation requests on our behalf.
- Akismet, a service of Automattic Inc. (United States), is used by Netlify Forms to screen submissions for spam.
Solve Beyond Inc. is based in Canada, and these providers are based in the United States. Your information is therefore transferred to, stored and processed in the United States, which may be outside the country where you live. While it is there, it is subject to the laws of that country and may be accessible to its courts, law enforcement and national security authorities. Access to invitation requests is limited to the people who review them.
How long we keep it
We keep invitation-list information until 12 months after the official public launch of Ek Haan. We will delete it sooner if you make a valid request for deletion, and keep it longer only where the law requires us to.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live — including under California privacy law, Canada’s PIPEDA, and India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 — you may have rights over your information. You can email info@ek-haan.com to:
- ask what information we hold about you;
- request access to it, or correction of it;
- withdraw your consent to marketing emails;
- request that we delete it.
Unsubscribing from marketing emails
Every marketing email from Ek Haan will include a way to unsubscribe. You can also email info@ek-haan.com and ask to stop receiving marketing emails. Unsubscribing stops marketing emails only. We may still contact you about your invitation request.
