1. Zero tolerance for abuse and exploitation

Ek Haan prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sextortion, trafficking for sexual exploitation, and any other conduct that sexually exploits or endangers a minor. These prohibitions apply to profiles, photographs, submitted text, reports and interactions connected with use of Ek Haan.

2. Adults only: 18 and older

Ek Haan is intended only for individuals aged 18 and older. Minors may not create or maintain accounts, and no one may create or manage a profile for a minor. Members must provide accurate age information and must not misrepresent their age or help a minor evade this requirement.

Report suspected underage accounts. An approval label does not guarantee that a person's age or identity has been independently established. Credible age concerns require review and may result in restricted access and removal of an ineligible account.

3. Prohibited content and conduct

Users must not upload, distribute, request, solicit, promote, trade, link to or facilitate CSAM or the sexual exploitation of minors. This includes sexualized depictions of minors, arranging abusive contact, grooming, coercion, threats or extortion involving minors, and facilitating trafficking for sexual exploitation. Attempted conduct and assistance to others engaging in it are also prohibited.

Do not use Ek Haan to identify, contact, recruit or exploit a minor, including by moving abusive activity to another service. Do not impersonate a minor or conceal prohibited conduct behind a purported test, report or fictional profile.

4. Report a concern safely

Use the app's Report a Problem feature to report suspected child exploitation, unsafe content or inappropriate activity. On a profile, choose Underage concern when appropriate, or the most relevant available reason. Where no specific child-safety reason is offered, choose Something else and describe the child-safety concern in plain text.

Reporting access is also available through Report a problem on the login page. Follow the account-access prompts to reach signed-out support if you cannot sign in. Use the separate email field for your reply address; in-app free text may reject contact details and links.

You may also report concerns to support@ek-haan.com. A subject such as “Child safety concern” helps identify the purpose of an email. Provide a brief, non-graphic description, approximate time and any available in-app report or profile reference.

If a child may be in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services or the appropriate child-protection authority. Ek Haan's reporting channels are not an emergency service, and no continuous monitoring or fixed response time is promised.

5. Report review and enforcement

In-app reports enter Ek Haan's administrative reporting workflow. Profile and photo reports are available to authorized Trust & Safety staff; general and signed-out reports enter the Support queue. These queues provide staff assignment, review status, internal notes and priority or severity controls. A report is an allegation to assess, not automatic proof of a violation.

Authorized staff can review the relevant account and report context, suspend or security-lock an account, hide a profile, remove profile text, and reject or remove a photo from member-facing use. Restrictions and moderation actions require appropriate permissions and record an administrative reason. Suspension or security locking revokes member sessions. Hiding or rejecting material does not itself prove that every stored copy has been physically erased.

When a violation is established, enforcement may include removing prohibited material, suspending access or permanently banning the account when warranted. Existing controls include account restrictions and blocking the known sign-in email from registration. An email block cannot guarantee that a person cannot return under a different identity. We do not claim automated CSAM detection, specialist review or 24/7 monitoring.

6. Applicable law and competent authorities

Ek Haan must comply with applicable child-safety laws and make reports to competent authorities when legally required. Confirmed CSAM must be addressed, including removal from access and any legally required report to the relevant regional authority or the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), as applicable to the operator and incident.

Not every user report is automatically sent to law enforcement. The facts, jurisdiction and applicable reporting obligations must be assessed, without delaying an urgent protective action. We do not promise a particular authority's response or investigate crimes on its behalf.

7. Privacy and lawful evidence handling

Report information must be handled only for safety review, enforcement and lawful obligations, with access restricted to authorized personnel who need it. Legitimate evidence may be securely preserved where required by law or a valid, scoped legal hold. Preservation must be limited to what is necessary, handled securely and reviewed for lawful deletion or release when the requirement ends.

These standards do not authorize an unrestricted archive of illegal content or routine downloading and forwarding of suspected CSAM. Prefer necessary report identifiers, dates and action records over copies of abusive material. Any handling of suspected illegal material requires legally appropriate, access-restricted procedures; reporters must not collect it for us.

The Privacy Policy explains personal-data handling and current retention limitations. The operator has not yet finalized the complete retention schedule for safety and audit records; this does not justify unlimited retention.
